Hammond brings her commitment to making people feel comfortable and cared for to the real
estate industry. After spending 18 years in California—where she embraced everything from
Hollywood to the Sunset Strip—Melissa is no stranger to vibrant energy and diverse
communities. A proud resident of Watervliet, Melissa appreciates the charm and personality of
her neighborhood and hopes to help others find their perfect home as well.
Melissa has worked at Spa Mirbeau for over three years, offering facials, dermaplaning, and
more. Whether providing skincare or helping clients navigate the home-buying process,
Melissa’s goal is the same: to create a comfortable environment and deliver a personalized
experience.
Melissa’s love for beautiful spaces influenced her journey into real estate in 2023. Her natural
appreciation for historical buildings, design, and the pride of craftsmanship informs her work.
Melissa loves exploring the unique architecture of downtown Albany and Troy and enjoys
imagining how a space can evolve from a house into a home; she is passionate about matching

Melissa’s experience bartending, waitressing, and living in multiple states has given her a deep

When she’s not working, Melissa enjoys summer days by the lake, paddleboarding, kayaking,
attending live music events, and taking road trips with friends. She loves staying active, whether that’s working out, walking, or spending time with her min pin, Oscar, and her two cats, Momo
and Rox.
